Keep using it.
No replacement download is required. Open your existing launcher and press Play once to install the new version. Then select HXC SurvivalCraft+ and choose your separate Ascension client folder.

HXC SurvivalCraft+ replaces HXC Survival Classic as the active realm. The previous HXC Survival Classic and Fresh servers are currently offline.
Conquest of Azeroth, with our survival systems
Build a character around CoA's custom classes and abilities while food, water, vigor, weather, and injuries shape your travels. Bot companions populate Azeroth, and our launcher delivers the client updates for this realm.
Experience from kills, quests, and exploration is set to 3×, with applicable elite and dungeon bonuses on top. Transmog and mounts are earned through play.
Moving from HXC Survival Classic
Keep your HXC launcher, install the full Ascension client in its own folder, and create a CoA account. Previous realm characters and accounts have not been migrated.

Our survival additions are part of the active CoA server and its launcher updates.
Hunger, hydration & vigor
Eat, drink, and rest to recover. A compact dashboard tracks your needs, weather, injuries, and three lasting food or drink buffs. Type /needs to show or hide it.
Survivalist abilities
Find survival actions in their own spellbook category. Essential field tools are available immediately. Crafting raises Survivalist skill to unlock better camps and equipment; Dodge and Second Wind unlock as you level.
Camps & rested experience
Build Campfire at Survivalist skill 1, Shelter at 75, and Hearthstead at 150 using wood and leather. Sit nearby for recovery and Fellowship buffs. About five minutes of sitting fills your rested experience.
Weather exposure
Rain, cold, heat, and storms affect your travels. Indoor shelter and camps provide relief from exposure.
Injuries & treatment
Treat wounds, venom, and fractures with bandages, healing potions, poison cures, and Field Splint.
Tools for the journey
Craft refillable flasks, rain buckets, repair kits, fishing equipment, war and travel drums, and personal rafts with normal materials.
Profession benefits
Start with every profession at skill 1. Gather any eligible tier of ore, herbs, skins, and wood. Crafting retains skill progression, and profession bonuses grow with your trained skill.
Companions & progression
Playerbot companions provide adventuring partners. Earn your mounts and transmog instead of starting with the entire collection unlocked.
Your client, kept current
The launcher supplies ElvUI and its extensions, AtlasLoot, Auctionator, Recount, SquidBots Lite, the survival dashboard, and our fog and water graphics update.

Setup & downloads
From download to Azeroth.
Install the base CoA client once. Let the HXC launcher take care of our updates after that.
1. Download the full Ascension client
Use the full ascension-live.zip shared by the Conquest of AzerothCore project. Click Download on Proton Drive and extract it into its own folder, such as C:\Games\HXC SurvivalCraft+. Do not extract it over your Fresh or HXC Survival Classic client.
The full game files are required; Ascension.exe or a client patch alone is not enough.
2. Register a CoA account
Create a username and password here under HXC SurvivalCraft+. This is separate from your old HXC Survival Classic login.
3. Open your existing HXC launcher
Already have it? Keep that copy. Older versions install the signed launcher update when you press Play once. No replacement download is required. Version 1.3.14 checks for launcher updates when it opens.

4. Choose HXC SurvivalCraft+ and its client folder
Select HXC SurvivalCraft+ in the dropdown. Click Browse and choose Ascension.exe in the folder you extracted. This folder is saved separately from your regular WoW client.
5. Let the updates finish, then press Play
While CoA is closed, the launcher automatically updates your saved CoA folder. It installs the correct Ascension.exe, login patches, survival patch, graphics, and all our current community addons. It writes the correct realmlist files too. Press Play when CoA is up to date, then sign in.
Opening the launcher to update does not start the game. Close CoA first if it is already running.
Report a bug or request a feature
Click the movable note icon in game or type /feedback. Choose Bug report or Feature request, describe it, and press Send. Your character and location are included automatically, and the server confirms receipt. The launcher installs this addon for you.
Common questions
Can I use my existing Wrath / HXC Survival Classic folder?
No. CoA requires the full Ascension files in a separate folder. Keep your old folder and use the same HXC launcher.
Do I need to manually install the Discord client patches?
No. Our launcher installs the server-compatible login files, patches, addons, and graphics. Use the full base-client download above and let the launcher apply our updates.
Will the launcher copy personal settings?
It installs the addons and required game files. Character settings, keybindings, and addon layouts stay in your own client; we do not distribute account folders.
My launcher does not show CoA yet
Press Play once to install its signed update. After it restarts, choose HXC SurvivalCraft+ and Browse to Ascension.exe. Very old versions from before automatic self-updates may require the launcher download above.
I cannot log in
Create a CoA account here, select HXC SurvivalCraft+, and let the launcher finish updating. Your old HXC Survival Classic login is separate. Keep the exact error and time so the host can check the connection.
